So When I got my 88 integra it idled really low, like 500 or so.. VERY low. Almost dying kind of stuff. Did a full tune up(plugs, wires, fluids change, belts, sealers, and a simple clean up) When i was putting the timing belt on, I noticed the exhaust cam was off a tooth. After I fixed it I was able to pass emissions and the idle on a cold start was fine but now warm idle it dies when I come to a stop.
I have already checked for vacum leasks too and didnt find anything, but I could have missed something
Im almost posative that when they had the timing belt changed last time it idled funny so they teaked everything to compensate and now everything is out of wak. Im assuming cold and warm idle controls are on the back of the throttle body between the firewall and trottle body..
My question is, if im right to think the idle controls, and if anyone knows of a simple way to set them, How?
cause when I glanzed at them when I got home from work yesterday, They didnt look very easy to get to.
I hope its as simple as my 3g accord but so far Ive noticed woking on this car is just headache
