Dammit, this is one video I'd love to see, but my dial up connection can't show it. I see the first half, then it freezes and stops. Does he hit anybody? And btw, people driving German cars aern't ricers, the bozo who titled the video must be a redneck domestic driver. :)
All these videos people have been posting up in the Lounge for months and months, I haven't seen 99% of them cuz of my crappy dial up 48K . :(

haha that's funny i feel bad for that ricer. My friend did that with his civic he was lining up against someone and he didn't put it in reverse but he had his wheels turned and when he launched.....well lets say he didn't go straight and he didn't win either. It was funny as hell

lol that was funny i let my girl drive my old R before i traded it and i was tryin to teach her how to reverse and she did the same thing almost not as bad she just gave it a lot of gas lol

go to neutral then pull it to the driverside (left) then push it down and it ll go a lil further to the left and then push it forward next to gear 1. its easy as hell but i can imagine ppl who drive it for the first time and are a bit nervous for dragging putting it in reverse just cause theu pushed it down a lil while getting it to the left.

still hilarious though

HHAHAHHA poor kid probably just got the car..but i know in my friends gti and my dads beamer that reverse is all the way to the left which probably explains this.

LMFAOOO! woww! but yeah, german cars have reverse on the left. to put it in reverse though, you have to push down. same with 6-spd cars that have it on the right, you have to push down. lmaooo that kids an idiot. that wasn't even a mean launch... hahahahaha :lol:

one time i seen a kid in a turboed out wrx do a standstill and completely blow his clutch. :roll: it sucked because a lot under the hood was aftermarket and that voids the warranty.

ohh...just push down and it will move over an lil bit and it will be in reverse? and just shift normally to first to drive?...i see

Its a noticable push down to get it in reverse, so that guy is an idiot. S2000s have the same type of push down setup except down and to the right. I like the push down lock out.
