Icu? Broken defroster

I bought my car with a broken rear defogger, the switch i just replaced and still nothing, what wire do i check for power? And what else can it be? Whats a icu ? Where is it? And whats it look like?

Well... Look at the obvious first, Look at the metal contacts on the back window, Are they going to the orangish brown tab things on the glass? usually those disconnect... For the ICU, You mean ECU? it's under the dash by the door on the passenger side (kick panel)

i heard something about a ICU thats behind the fuse box in the car.......

yea check th rear window too make sure everything looks good....mine doesnt work and thats the reason why....the tabs broke off the orange part

I believe the power wire is the black/yellow wire.

I did the foglight mod and it does work so i know theres power to the switch, tabs look good on the rear window as well as the fuse. Anything else to look at?
