Ichibahn565 DC4 Build Thread (^_^)

Hey teg heads, how's everyone doin'? Thought it was about time to begin my build thread. After countless nights of tossing and turning in bed, i've finally decided what to do to my LS teg. I shall be swapping in a H22 and doing the H2B swap. I will be ordering the adapter plate from Quarter Sports Drag, alt. bracket from Expicit Speed Performance, and motor on friday. I have a custom underdrive pulley (running alt. and timing belt only) that I received from Bisimoto which I will be posting pics of asap. What I have done to the car so far is as follows:
- Benen fuel rail, shifter stabilizer bushings, generic short throw, PWJDM shift boot, carbon fiber shift knob, amber turn signals, type-r style front lip, hks style air filter, hand me down coilovers, and EM1 wheels.

List of parts at the shop waiting to be installed:
-Innovative motor mounts, AEM UEGO wideband, Moates emulator and chip kit, and Walbro 255lph fuel pump.

I am a nursing student with one year to go so money has been tight, but i've managed to save up enough moolah to begin and set a good foundation for my build. I would appreciate any constructive criticism and will try to update constantly. I'm very excited to finally start my build. (^_^) Thank you!

although my 2cents would be.. switch to honda badging or switch to acura caps...
and
the fitment of your lip on pic 1 looks poor..... and paint it ! :]

Awesome! I may be telling you what you already know, but I wanna give you a heads up just in case. Generally, you have to cut the passenger side mount bracket a bit and re-drill a bolt hole to fit an H22. Not sure if you have to with an H2B swap or the Innovative mounts though :\ I'd call Innovative and ask. Also ask them if you can run your power steering rack or if you need to get a manual one. And you need to get a half-sized radiator and slim fan.

Hey everyone, thank you all for the pointers. I really appreciate it. Well today my friend and I ordered our h2b adapter plates. Seth @ QSD gave us free shipping and a few bucks off the order. Their kits are usually $749 + S/H. I talked to John @ Explicit Speed Performance and I will be ordering the top mount 1/2" over alt. bracket in the morning. I got ahold of Dave from DH-Racing to order my head gasket and he is cutting me a pretty good deal since we are ordering 3 (first thing in the morning). Couldn't get ahold of Bisi but a csr there told me he would tell Bisi to give me a call tommorrow so I can see if we could get a deal on ordering underdrive pulleys and balance shaft cover. Tiger Japanese said they could cut us a deal since we are ordering 3 H22a's and a D15 (free S/H and a percentage off the total). The guy is supposed to call my friend in the morning to give us the go ahead to order. In the mean time here's the paypal transaction for the 2 H2B adapter plates (^_^). Once again thanks guys!:p

Yeah it is man, but we got a good deal :) Been saving up for a while and now its time to splurge on the teggy! (^_^)
