Whatsup my teg bros? I'm thinking of going turbo and I need some of your advice. I know there are threads on turbo'ing, but I'm lazy a bit right now, and just want specifics to what I want and maybe ya'll can recommend some threads/posts/articles I can look at. Besides I did do a search and most are specific to what they want not what I want.

I have an 01 GS B18B1 GS or pretty much LS motor, no VTEC :( ...but I hear LS motors are better for boost so frack vtec!! :D

Currently it's had a new timing belt put on several thousand miles ago, new headgasket, internal rinse/wash, new NGK VPower spark plugs, and wires and distributor cap and rotor, DC Sports exhaust manifold and AEM short ram intake but of course those are going to be gone obviously. Not sure if that was even relevant but whatever. And everything else pretty much stock. OBD2. oh and Magnaflow cat to pass emissions here in NY state, with a spacer put on to make that goddang forsaken check engine light go away!

Anyway, I want no more then 10 lbs of boost, up to 250 to the wheels maybe. I want to keep my baby a daily driver, keep my fuel economy and stock injectors on. Go turbo with stock internals. I want to go turbo with the most minimal modifications to the motor. I hear you can go light turbo without having to change the fuel system and everything so it shouldn't be necessary to have to upgrade every single thing. And be able to drive to work and school not getting into boost but at night rip it!

My friend with the same motor and 10lbs but JDM B18B1, I assume its pretty much the same, only upgraded his headgasket, rods, studs and pistons to handle the extra pressure. I'm ok with upgrading the rod bolts and studs from ARP n all that if im going to beat on my beetch like it owes me money. but he had 8:1 comp pistons though supposedly for a fail safe. but can I keep my stock pistons?

What is a good small or midsize turbo and turbo kit? What will I need? Intercooler, turbo manifold, waste gate, blow off valve and a good tune............???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Bare Basics, Essentials. NO EBAY THOUGH.

I hear people going up to 300whp turbo on a good tune with stock internals. And supposedly you should upgrade your valvetrain and camshafts but again I only want some light boost for starters I'm not building a beast. and I hear turbo ppl staying on stock cams, injectors, pistons everything, just a friggin turbo and exhaust and your golden! :D supposedly..

Imagine when you buy a new car from the dealership that's turbo, it's always some light turbo low boost thats legal and that doesn't compromise fuel economy, THATS WHAT I WANA DO!!! :D As if Honda came out with a stock turbo integra from the factory but that factory is actually my garage! :p

I just want to basically slap a starter/beginner/newbie/affordable turbo onto my stockassboneassstockass B18 motor with the least modifications to it possible, the least the better.... yes im cheap and lazy. oh and did I mention the less the better..? :)

Just the turbo kit and exhaust and tune I want to invest in. It's going to be low boost anyway. Give me some advice. Yes, I'm a no0b, yes I understand at least the basics so go easy on me, dont be a dhiq! thanks.

Not sure if I'm forgetting anything, I wrote a ton, so throw it at me! the advice I mean.

Thanks!! :)

really? you ever wonder why nobody has replied yet? one that post is long as hell! and 2 your very generic, you need to do alot research, most people wont just be upfront with you, you have to do the research and then if you have questions, ask them. ive been doing a ton of research on boosting my motor but i plan to rebuild one on the side so i know its going to hold up. ive put in alot of time doing research. start there and then ask questions. btw you need a specify what kind of budget you have

here you go for a kit http://www.go-autoworks-store.com/gostkit.html

ive heard nothing but good things about this guy and his kits/products

you can also piece together a kit too, its all about what your preferences are an ect

upgrade your fuel system such as injectos, fuel pump one an ect

get a management system like hondata, greddy emanage ultimate or aem ems

def upgrage your clutch and even flywheel maybe to something that is recommended for use with vehicles using forced induction based on what your power goal is.

these are just things to get you pointed in the right direction now just look up everything and read read read
