I need to chat with someone that knows about an auto to manual swap

I am considering doing a 5 speed swap on my 93 integra it's an auto now
And i need info about what's involved if anyone knows
Do I Need to change the ECM? PCM?
Anything like that or is it just an easy swap bolt n go?
Iv had 4 integras 90-93 both auto n manual just never converted one
If anyone has done a swap please get ahold a me

PLEASE try to research even a little bit.. this is a topic that has been beaten to death and there are TONS of helpful write-ups all over the internet

Hell, if Kristen can do the swap you can do it. She has a thread of before and after stuff. It's not as hard as people think.

u would have to buy another integra tht is a manual and start transferring all the parts over to the one u want to keep and u might want to go to ur local honda acura dealer to get new springs for ur clutch pedal

I did the swap on my first integra. It was a 90 ls. Damn thing never ran right after the swap. U need ecu, shift linkage, pedals, tranny, shifter, custom mount or cut the passenger mount from a 5 speed shell and weld it (which is what I did). Its a huge p.I.t.a. just sell yours and buy a 5 speed. Much easier.

x2 go to g2ic.com and look thru build threads... many guys have had these issues. or to elaborate more ... the hole in the floorpan for the auto shifter is not the same as for the manual. You have to do a neutral safety delete or wire the switch in, you have to swap pedals over... it is alot of work TBH ( from what I have read) you also have to change the shifter console and there is a buch I am prolly missing.

you are far better suited cost wise to sell the auto and buy a manual.
