Hey man i need a new motor i was wondering where you got your itr motor from. and....
How much it coast for the motor and to put it in.
Was there any problems you came across with the motor.
How long did it take to put in.
And if i think of anything else ill let ya know.

BOOST + HIGH COMPRESSION = KA BOOM!!!!

Get your ITR motor and drop some 9:1 compression pistons and call it a day.

in all honesty, i cant take any credit for the swap....lady in california built it, and i bought the car off of her...

i can tell you that before i bought the hatch, i WAS looking at ITR motors, and usually the best price i could find was 4500...not including labor....if you know a good mechanic that has done honda swaps before, he shouldnt have any trouble swapping it in for you....just make sure he takes his time and does it right....wish i could be of more help

www.Hmotorsonline.com they are great. but random is right they are expensive for the B18C5. as far as the swap goes its easy. just remember what you unbolt on the old one, bolt back on the new one. really its that simple. and if you decide to have it rebuilt, put in 9.0:1 compression. you wont be sorry, you'll boost faster and if your fuel managment is up to speed you'll never have melt down problems or anything especially if your using forged pistons. and if you use forged pistons you need aftermarket rods because stock ones dont work. Eagle H-beam are great rods. I'll trade you my complete B18B swap for your busted ass ITR swap haha . thats if you buy a new one of course. good luck I hope I helped.
