Ok maybe im the only one who has a problem wit this. Ok Ive been goin on a couple of honda and acura forums looking a pics of integra's now my problem is and i dont understand the Point of getting an integra and putting honda emblems on it. this gets on my nerves. can someone explain this to me please?

An Acura IS a Honda. Americans have this thing with brands and labels ... therefore we have companies such as Acura and Lexus ( all Lexus is, is a glorified Toyota ). Most people who own Integras are into the whole Japanese Domestic Market thing ... and since an Integra is a Honda in Japan, they put Honda emblems on it. Also, the car is powered by Honda .... so whats wrong with having Honda emblems on the car?

i COMPLETLY AGREE with you .... its fuckin stupid, i dont see people with lincoln navigators slappin ford badges on em. Or people with caddy escalades slappin chevy tahoe badges on.

NEWS FLASH: your LHD USDM integra will never be jdm no matter how much stupid shit like honda emblems you put on it it will always be a FAKE ASS COPY of a jdm car!

Not everyone who does it is attempting to make there car look like a JDM RHD Integra. Comparing small sport compact cars to navigators and escalades is just plain ridiculous ... 2 different worlds. If someone went and put a big Honda decal on their USDM Integra .. that would be overkill. Putting 2 small Honda emblems on your car is fine, it is replacing something that was already there, and technically is only showing the true origin of the vehicle. Like I said, as far as im concerned, if it says it on every OEM part in the car, it can say it on the outside too. Putting Honda emblems on a USDM Acura isnt any worse than people putting GS-R blades on there LS or people buying some nice JDM DC2 Recaro seats.

Im not saying im for it, but im not against the idea of doing it either. I am more for just straight up shaving the emblems.

well putting a chevy tahoe badge on an escalade is completly showing the "true origin" of the vehicle ... considering its a TAHOE BODY and a TAHOE engine. But it sounds fuckin stupid doesnt it? Yes ... that because doing the same thing to an ACURA is also fuckin stupid.

Im also for shaving the emblems ... did it on my old accord .... and if i ever was to repaint the acura id shave em ...... but since im not repainting em ... and my acura badges that came with the car dont need replacing .... i think ill just leave em there.

I'll have a honda badge on mine when i finish it. I don't see anything wrong with it. Like blacklisted91 said, it is a honda. I guess something just to set it out from the rest.

Really now, I've seen tons of people that put Ford emblems on Cougars, and hella old dudes put Nissan emblems on there G35. Fack of the matter is its your car, do what you want, and if you dont like something, dont do it that simple. Im going to put Honda badges on my car, just b/c I like the stupid reaction people have! "ITs not a honda its an acura" Fuck oFF! lol! If you got a problem, then take my badges off, or buy me a tru Honda Integra!

well if you dont like honda badges. i suggest you should get rid of anything else that is made of honda parts. lol. part out? too bad an ITR owner doesnt think that way. i'd take his engine haha.

i don't disagree with the honda badges on acura's but i don't really think it makes a difference, but it doesn't piss me off enough to make a thread about it
