I just bought a DA6 with the core support all bunged up I'm not the best welder and mostly I don't have the tools I'll be borrowing the tools to cut, weld, pull and drop. I'm determined to rebuild it and get it rolling. Can I get any advice/tips/cheats/help. I'm not using A/C no power steering, I've got to rewire a bit of it due to the accident I've got two extra wiring harnesses but would have to splice and solder or just hook the light plugs back up (wondering what would be easier) BTW this is my first post/thread so please be nice. will post some pictures shortly.

im no expert, but i would suggest going to a junk yard and cutting a clean core support, if they have them. Would save you a lot of headache trying to line up the beat up one..

Good luck

I've got a front core cut and have one still on my other DA. thanks for the advice! Is there any pipes i should worry about? I've cut a few lines that I believe are for the power steering and A/C if I could post a pic from my computer not URL I'd show you my current situation. Thanks again guys. It's rust free and that in Minnesota is a rarity specially on a Honda/Acura

most likely, AC lines. Power steering lines stays closer to the fender well and under the engine
