They work but don't expect to get much of a gain out of them I think they push lik 1psi of boost-maybe get 5-10hp at most. That looks like a cheap one. They range in price from $50 to $300. You would probably get more hp yanking you r belt off for your powersteering and AC.

Im pretty sure he meant loss, they are junk. All they do is block your intake.

That Thomas Knight might work, but it has 3 extra batteries.

Also its $1800!!!! That is a turbo.

Correct!

I've seen them tested. What you are looking at is bullshit. They are just restriction in the intake and do not increase power. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I promise :thumbs up They do not compress air, they just blow air like a fan. Turbo's and Centrifugal superchargers are the same concept but they actually compress air as it flies off the blades ot the compressor. That thing does not flow enough to create pressure in the intake which is necessary to make your engine take in more air than it would normally.

The Thomas Knight that Omni speaks of is proven to make power, but it isn't cheap, it does require a serious electrical system and it still not fuctional all the time. You pretty much flip a switch and hit it and it delivers boost but it is not constant and the electrical system will only power it for so long. It would be similar to n2o the way you would use it and the amount you get, but you never have to fill a bottle. But it also would weigh 3 times as much with the extra batteries
