hud lights

Sword of Swords!
i wanna tear down the dash and swap the lights so the dash is funky at night, will leds work with the stock plugs or will i have to alter them?

i think they're the cluster lights. lol

you can replace them with LED's, but if you dont know what you're doing, i suggest getting the socket led's for that bulb size

I think he meant HUD as in heads up display..even though that's severely incorrect....:wtf:
And if you don't know what you're doing, which is what it sounds like, do what Jake said....

Yes I knew what you meant, I was just correcting you because HUD is something totally different. If anything, you could refer to it as an IP.

Either way, I'm sorry if I came across as an asshole. But also, do some searching, there are a bunch of threads on this site about converting your interior lights to LEDs.

pc..politically correct, its all good dude, i took it apart today anyway, not too bad of a job now i need to take it apart again to get bulb numbers and try a trick with sanding the back of the actual board with the speedo and tach and all, supposedly there is this stuff on the back that it supposed to filter out all the light so if i sand it all off, all the light will come thru.....gotta try it now, taking that thing apart was actually really simple! took about 10 minutes in and out!
