how to take care of rust

i got a little on the fender too, i just dont know much about body work, im guessing sand it down? tape it off , and under that honda bage is pretty bad, got any products or tips, tryna make her look clean!

Easiest way to possibly do the hatch is to find a used one in your area. Might be able ti find one thats the same color too.

Looks like it's just bad surface rust, doesn't look like it's too deep. Take a screw driver and poke it, if it starts falling apart (like chunks) then buy one from a JY or if you have skills start grinding and welding in new metal.

well before you buy a new hatch.. start sanding and see how bad the rust is. Maybe its not that bad.

noo i think it could be sanded down, but idk the process, my brother said it so small that it would be that hard to do, how much u think it would be to get professinal done? i work at a dealership, maybe il see with a nice employ discount, i want it to looks nice, not all cheap looking ya kno

Above the tail light it looks like it has body filler crack I would get a hatch from the JY that has no big issues

theres no holes, its not cracking through, iv checked it pretty good, and poked it gently, just feels rusted to me

Take some sandpaper to it, a wire wheel on a drill if you have to, and sand it off. You can't really tell how bad the rust is until you get the paint off and start working at it. After all the rust is gone it's time for paint.

Is it possible to touch up a bit of rust that isnt so bad on the quarter panel without repainting the whole damn thing?
