How to remove side view mirorrs?

A buddy and I thought it might be a cool idea to paint my side view mirrors and possibly door handles a nice flat black on my 95 teg. However we have no idea how to get the darn things off. Help? lol

pry off the plastic cover. (flat head screw driver)
there should be three screws hold your mirror.
just unscrew and enjoy.
