i'm in same situation lol....my guess is that we have to zip tie them on through the radiator....and make sure they are tight. plus i think i have to splice the wires from the factory plug to my fans wires. i just bought full size alum. radiator with 2 12" slim fans. i will be putting mine in this saturday. ill let ya know how mine goes and will take pics. tomorrow is my bday and i have to install new walbro 255 fuel pump! hell yea! lol im just happy i dont have to drop the tank! good luck man!

Yup, you secure the fan with those strait pull zip ties. Just feel them between the fins.

thanks, i saw the video on how to install the universal fan on youtube but i have another question regarding the fan being mount on the radiator. Is it bad that the fan is touching the radiator? or it is ok. I know that the radiator gets really really hot so wouldn't it burn or melt the fan? Also during the rotation of the fan, is there a possible chance of the rotation fan will hit the radiator while spinning?
thanks

Hey guys, I haven't been able to get online alot recently. We have had a few shifts in departments etc and I will be on as much as possible. If anyone has any questions, feel free to E-mail me at patrick@mishimoto.com.

You should have no problems. I have had my 12" fan on the front of my Mishimoto radiator (held on with the mount kit) for the past year wit no problems. The fan will not touch the radiator, just the plastic fan "case" will be up against it. Also, if anything ever happens, shoot me and E-mail and I can have a replacement sent under our lifetime warranty.

Here is an install guide we have available for the mount kit and installing a fan as a pusher which I created when installing everything onto my car :) On picture 2-A, put the dampening spring between the cushion and the fan.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

thanks for the help and i got it on, it gives me a lot of relief about not worrying about overheating or damaging the a/c compressor.
