How to install headers?

Im probably going to get s*** for this but i need help. How do i install headers on my 91? I cant find a post that describes how. What size wrench do i need to loosen the o2 sensor? And how do i get the bolts that connect the headers on the OEM ones?

First, You only have one header. Its not a V6 or a V8, just one header.

You need an oxygen sensor socket for the O2.
The exhaust manifold bolts on the head are 14mm. Torque to 23ft-lbs
The bolts/nuts down below are either 12 or 14mm if they are original.

You can use an adjustable wrench for the 02 as well if you don't want to spend money on the socket

That's what I used its pretty easy. I have a ? Tho is it necessary to replace the gasket if you swap the header cuz I have a tri y I wanna put in but I'm broke as hell. Sorry if I thread jack.

I would say replace it just to have the feeling that it's new. If the old gasket doesn't look good or anything then i would replace.

do i need to take out my fan and radiator to make room for the header? and how do i reach the bolts that are right under the manifold before getting to the cat?

Ive heard people having to remove the fan in order to get it in there, but ive also heard people getting a one piece in there with just the right angle, u just need some elbow room to work.

Just take the entire oem header off, unbolt it from the cat and take it out, no need to split the oem. Mine ended up stripping, just fyi
