how to disable alarm

I lost the key fob. And in order to start the car u have to unlock the car using the key fob or else it won't start and the lights just blink. Anyone know how I can disable the alarm?

I found a little box under the steering column. Unplugged that and now it's fine. Thanks though.

I guess you could unplug it. Personally I would have just used the valet switch. Usually it is on the antenna on the windshield, or slightly older versions have it under the dash somewhere. Usually its a little spring loaded button. You simply turn they key to the on position, but not to start the car, push the button once and car should be able to start. You might have to turn the key off after pushing the button and then starting it, but you get the general idea.
