I Have a 96 Acura Integra LS Automatic, i was wondering if i can add a lot of horsepower to a LS AUTO.
Iv heard that since its a a Auto i cant really add to much horsepower to it is that true,

If i can add lots of horsepower to my ride what could i add. plus am i going to need a ecu upgrade or somebody to tune it for me, and could any shop do so

I already have a exhasut and a intake
I also do not know lots about cars i have been learning so i might not sound smart cause im not

My Last question if its a automatic and a ls is there a way i can swap it for a vtech engine or can that only be done with sticks

Thank you so much for the help.

You can switch it over to a vtec motor. But you will also need the ecu, and probably a cluster to go with that. I have an Automatic GSR Cluster ready for use if interested. Its a "hybrid" meaning it does not have the JDM KPH speedometer but the US MPH.

You can add a header and tune the car to make more power as well.

get an ecu with a hondata or crome or whatever tuning program. Put it on a dyno and have the tuner get maximum power from the modifications.

Please PM if interested in the cluster.

This is seriously your like, 5th thread asking these exact same questions. Try listening or doing some research. Automatics suck, end of story. Sure you can swap to a motor with vtec but you will need an auto gsr cluster and ecu. Go turbo or something. None of it will make a big difference because your transmission will hold you back no matter what unless you build it up which I can almost guarantee is out of your budget
