Raising your fuel pressure is not a good option.

Stock fuel pressure is around 40psi. That is good for 240cc injectors at around 170hp. If you double your fuel pressure you'll get about 40% more fuel. So if you want to double your fuel delivery you'll need to add 4 times more pressure. Your stock rail, diaphragm, and pump will only support around 80psi. This is risky because as you increase fuel pressure you pump will take a massive beating and your stock injectors will get super hot because they will be running over 100% efficiency.

Really you should always run 40psi in the rail. If you want more fuel, buy bigger injectors. A stock fuel setup with some 600cc injectors will easily handle the 300hp range.

don't know if this is something of use but anyway, my buddy with a boosted da LS rn a greddy kit boosted 10 psi on the turbo and blew the motor. got a new motor ran 8 psi worked better but ended up blowing that one also. it has been fine since he is only now running 7psi on a stock motor. he dyno at 205hp/147tq
