I have a 10W3v2 in my Teg, just installed it last summer. It's the first 10 I've ever owned (I've always had 12's or 15's) and it's taking some time to get used to. It plays the upper end bass more efficiently than 12's. But it sounds great, I think you'll be happy with them, just as important as the sub itself is the box it's in and the amp running it.

So why would someone get a 12"? I'm not really into subs, but I've been looking at some on eBay. Do you have dual voice coil on that sub? What would be the most important things to look at when looking to get subs?

i'm not a audio tech... but he means when the bass is high... it hits... imagine techno music... and 10's do this job really good especially if you have a hatch... bigger subs have that low end bass and high... imagine music from ludacris or something that rumbles with bass.

i think the key to subs is the the contant rms power... teg sox can probably go more in depth about it. i just know enough to install and bump... lol.

12's play the low end bass louder, bass below 30HZ. The have a bigger cone (obviously) and longer excursion, they can physically move more air than a 10 can.

My 10w3 is a DVC.
