I have an A/F gauge but dont know how to install it. Cant i just tie it into the O2 sensors or add one just for the gauge?

for obd2 at the ecu

the purple wire on the AF guage taps into the following

connector D, #7
primary heated o2, sensor 1

red for power
black for ground

itll just be a fancy light show if you dont have a wideband o2 sensor

G2 section, so OBD2 isn't an option.

I'm curious how it would work with OBD0 one wire O2 sensors.

Samething. There called air fuel gauges at all the local parts store. Even on the packages. So your only half right

They are not the same thing, one is just a blinking light the other is a functional gauge used for tuning.

The narrow band gauge is just about as useful as this.

Beat me to it. They may look similar on the surface, but wideband air fuel gauges are quite different than narrowband. The narrowband gauges just vampire into the ECU signal wire from the stock O2, where widebands have a separate O2 sensor that reads the actual air fuel ratio by measuring exhaust gas.

Yeah your right. But they end up doing the same thing for you. He probably went to an auto parts store and bought an air fuel gauge though. Did anyone ask that or did we just assume he bought a wideband or narrowband

Well since he is talking about wiring it up to an existing O2 sensor I'm guessing he didn't get his own sensor so it's probably a narrowband afr gauge.

Well Bought a bag full of gauges from a dude and it has a FAZE [Black/Red/Green] 3 wire pluge and the face says lean ideal rich with varing colors starting with red to yellow to green, looks like it has never been used also a FAZE shifter light but i have an idea how tie that into the dash.
