how do i wire my driver side radiator fan

i have a 1990 teg and i wanna wire it up so it runs when i turn the switch on and would like to know which wire is the hot and ground cuz the fan stoped working and im pretty sure the has a splice somewhere cuz it will turn on and cool and other days it wont so i wanna wire it up to a switch and would like to know what which wire is hot and which wire is ground any help would great thank u

thanks bro but the person i bought it from messed up the whole wiring theres colors that should not be in the engine compartment so i did a whole re-wire n now im thinking of buying a whole wire harness

OEM fan? Are you sure the fan motor didn't die? More info please...pics would be great too.
