I had to remove the rear mount completely, remove the crank pulley and move it as close as it can to the drivers side of the car with the engine lift. Should be able to get it past the mount.

I just pushed and pulled to get it by the mount, sucked tho cause I had to keep raising and lowering the lift to get it past my garage door... took me all of 20 min to get it out of the car... might need a load leveler, I had to max it out and put the cam side as high as possible... mabe thats why I got it out so easy/??

Are you doing this on a lift or on jack stands?
The easiest way I've found is to drop the engine/trans right out the bottom of the car.

When you dropped it out the bottom was that with a lift? I've never tried out the bottom, but it seems like a hassle without a way to raise the car lol.
