How do I know if I need an oil cooler?

On my turbo integra my oil seems to me that it runs a bit hot at times. My car is my daily, so I drive it to work and school and such. My tuner has me on 5w-30 oil right now, but I've noticed after long drives on the highway or just boosting it a lot my oil temps get as high as 220 F. Is this too high? And if so I'm assuming an oil cooler is necessary at that point. I plan to get a turbo blanket because the first one I had cut down pretty well on my oil temps on my last turbo (blew due to too much oil pressure). I just need to get one that's the right size, instead of the way too big one I have now,

Just want to make sure not to overheat my car! I've got a nice radiator and fan set up so as far as coolant goes, my temps are good!

Thanks for any help!

If you think your oil temps are too high the go a head, why not be safe than sorry.

On the streets mine is usually 200-210 and freeway it stays at 230-240 so yeah sounds normal.

You can add a cooler to anything. Why do you think you need one?

@Muckman I just wanna be proactive! ! My oil light started blinking so I consulted a more experienced mechanic; he suggested it's just a bad oil pressure sensor and as long as my oil level is fine not to worry so I'm going to replace it with electronic oil pressure & oil temperature gauges, Replace My Oil Pan gasket, Oil Filter, AND Chang My Oil Since Its About time....I'm also burning oil (I have no clue why and no clue Wat to do about it) So.... preventive maintenance is the short answer! !
