How am I supposed to go lower???

I know that lowering is probably just as much discussed as an intake and exhaust topic, but I assure you, my situation in pretty unique.

So I want to loer the snot out of the Integra because it is currently a Monster Truck. :lame
P.S.- Integra has 16" wheels with 50 series tires; and ONE 55 series tire. WTF Dont ask me! Retard last owner.....

edit- The ONE 55 series tire is on the back passenger side, and that's the tire that rubs. The driver side rear tire (50 series) does NOT rub.

I still havent decided on what setup to go with yet either, whether to go with springs or coilovers.... Coilovers should let me go lower than just springs right?

Okay, so I need to figure out that detail and everything, but my MAIN concern is the fitment. Even now, the tires rub the fenders when I corner hard. I think it's because the RacingHart wheels have a lower offest than they should be and it put the wheel/tire out too far.... So how am I supposed to lower it when the tires will be hitting the wheel well even while i'm NOT cornering??? I thought about rolling the fenders, but theres nothing to roll, it's already smooth. They only thing I can think of, is getting new wheels that don't have as little offset, or pulling the fenders..... We could easily get some GSR blades for the Integra though... Those should fit easier being 15" right?

Anyways, thanks your help is greatly appreciated

Wait... What?
16s to start and get some good coil overs. If you go low enough, you probably want a camber kit.

16's i go with 205/45/16 size tires

you gotta make up your mind on shocks/springs or shocks/sleeved coilovered or complete coilover setup. there is no wrong route to go... any is fine. but coilovers do provide a adjustable ride height, however evertime you change your height, you gotta think about the camber/toe. unless you get the adjustable pillow mounts

i've rode on 15s 16s 17s on shocks/springs.... no problems what so ever... and my car is more dumped than most cars with coilovers. handles great, barely any camber, and no bouncy bobble head shit. i just had ONLY the Tokico shocks and H&R springs

there's a couple things you need to do such as cut your bumper stops, roll the fenders, bend the metal piece on the chasis in the wheel well, shave a little off the front upper control arms.

x2 there is absolutly no wrong route with the lowering, i recoment getting a new set of rear tires though since you have an odd ball.

oh yea, a camber kit is recommended once the camber/toe is pushed in/out too much.

Thanks for the replies. I can honestly say that I wouldn't be able to afford real coilovers that are $1k+ anytime soon. maybe in a couple months when i get this insurance settlement in, but I was planning on using that for something else.

I could get some springs easy, or even these skunk2 coilovers. What do you guys think about these?

What about these springs? They look decent. Nice drop for the price.

Thanks, did you roll the fenders at all?

Is there a way i can calculate the offset on my wheels to see what it is?
