Ok so i have an ITR rep shift knob and when i park outside and later return to the Teg, the shifter is hella hot! Ive tried the window shaders, tried wrapping a sock around it, but its still super hot! Any solutions?

not much is going to keep it cool, buy a sweatband that you like and use it as a "sock" or buy a knob that is coated with something to keep it cool or a silicone knob

Silicone isn't as nice in your hands though. Erybody knoes dat.
well I would have recommended Flossy as is my knob, which I love. but they f***ed me in the quality and fitment department and it was pretty expensive and I'll be refinshing it myself add they won't respond to my emails

No fucks given.
Bet they'd respond if you said you wanted to buy another one.... Companies like that suck.

Keep a rag over it when you park in the sun or use a sweat band as mentioned already or find a baby's sock and slip it over when you start driving.
Leather shift knobs don't get as hot and neither do the half aluminum half leather like the 8th gen si knob.

X2 on shift faster :) you don't need to be leaving your hand on the knob anyway.

Then find an upholstery shop and have them make a leather slip cover in whatever color/grain you want in the dimensions of your shift knob. That is the classiest/best working solution.
