Hot Hot Hot!

The never ending wheel problems continue with my car. I am getting a steady "bump...bump...bump..." through the steering wheel and pedals. I am almost positive it is coming from the front passenger side because the rim, lugs, hub, caliper... everything is hotter than it should be. I'm thinking the caliper is bad... At least that's what a buddy of mine thinks. The hardware on my calipers is all rusted and striped, so I'd like to kind of "solve" the problem before I start it. IOW, don't want to spend money if I don't have to 8) So anyway, if any of you guys have confronted ANY problems like this it would help me out a lot by reading your input!!!

My car is up on jack stands right now... It doesn't belong that high up!! Thanks guys! :D

nothing from nowhere
lol, try spinning the wheel, it should turn freely, if not it's probally rust or a caliper

Just call me chris.
do you hear a helicopter in your car? if so it would be a wheel bearing. but sounds like a seized caliper or a warped rotor

Didnt you make a thread on this already? Did you try any of the suggestions?
Yes, but didn't get much help... The bumping is harder than a rotor that's why I was thinking it's a caliper. I'm going to replace them along with the hardware tomorrow hopefully.

Replaced both bearings already when I did wheel studs.

The bumping is sort of like a cross between the wheel not being mounted correctly and an alignment problem lol

Thanks for the help guys. GoTO
