Horn won't honk

I push the button and it doesnt make a noise.

Now when you push the button, you can hear the relay clicking.

I know nothing about a horn relay, but if it helps, nothing on my steering wheel works. Idk if its related but my cruise set/accel/decel dont work either. But when I press the button to the left of the steering wheel, it lights up.

Check the fuses I would guess. My horn has actually gone entirely bad.

check fuses 1st....

Then check wiring....

Then replace the horn itself....

Yeah the fuse it probably blown. I've seen a harn fuse on toehr cars, I'm not sure about the teg. So check.

Your fuse is blown. If your horn and cruise control don't function...your brake lights do not work either. I would grab a new fuse ASAP.

Did you recently do anything with your taillights?
Did you have a 3rd brake light and disconnected it?


It's a 7.5 fuse. Try tapping your brakes (with the hood popped) and listen to see if the fuse blows. If it blows, you most definitely have a short somewhere. If you disconnected a 3rd brake light (IE: for an ITR wing, etc), plug it back in.

Could just be the wiring to the horn went bad.

The previous owner to me installed an air horn, and with water getting to the unprotected pump, the connections corroded and the horn ceased to function.

ive been using my car without a horn for a while now. haha.
ever since i swapped my stock steering wheel to a Quick release.

Well my brake lights still work, so thats not the problem. The fuse was the first thing I checked. Its got a fuse thats a little bit too big but no big deal. Next is the wiring I guess...

behind the steering wheel there is a harness type deal that plugs in under the column and plugs into your cruise control and horn and airbag so if your cruise control dont work and horn and maybe srs light is on thats def the problem just pull your airbag out by removing the two torque head screws under the cruise control and plastic guard and see if the connectors are rusted or wiring snapped or just not plugged in
this is how i fixed my horn and cruise control prob
a new harness from the junkyard costed me 50 dollars as opposed to 500 at honda/acura
