hood question

How do i set the hood that its up and down and not slanted when i have the hood up? i was told theres two levels, i have a gen 2 and was wondering if it was possible with mine also! Noob ?:???:

I'm a little curious as to what your asking. You want to know how to make your hood go straight up, instead of slanted when you pop it? Well if I want it straight up I can just push it straight up and rest it on the windshield lol. I guess you could move your hood prop so it would hold it straight up. (Although my hood's hinges have been forced up from two hoods smashing the windshield on this car.. maybe normal hinges don't go that far up..)

Is that what your asking though? Lol.
If so, whats stopping you from doing that?

This thread puzzles me. You could always detach the hood if you need that much room when you're wrenching on the whip.

The second gen hood props arn't on the side like that, they're in the front..
