today, i got my federal tax return back. i decided to give myself a $1500 budget to spend on my car.
now, here is the story.
THE ORIGINAL PLAN, was to use the money for a Type-R motor swap. BUT that plan was shot to hell when i lost my job back in october. i wasn't able to save up the money, and i didn't find a job until just a few weeks ago. fortunately, the job is a very good paying job, so i'll be back on my feet in no time.
anyway, onto the NEW PLAN.
i decided that since i wasn't going to be able to do my ITR swap this year (still may be able to this summer, money permitting of course) i decided that another area of my car was going to get a major, and MUCH NEEDED overhaul. THE MOST IMPORTANT AREA OF THE CAR, THE SUSPENSION.
so here we go. here are the goodies i'm getting.
Koni Yellow w/ Ground Control Coil-overs $805 shipped:

Suspension Techniques Sway-Bar set (front and rear) $328.65 shipped:

Goodridge Stainless Brake Line kit $115.95 shipped:

Energy Suspension Rear Trailing Arm Bushings $35.98 shipped:
http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=16.7107&cat=4176
that puts me at a grand total of $1,285.58. which falls well within my budget. looks like i'm going to order a few "appearance goodies" to finish it off for now. i'm going to order an ITR shift boot, and a Mugen shift knob. which will add a total of around $100 to the previous total.
can't wait to order the stuff! should be doing it tonight or tomorrow.
