I HATE the blue color of my stock high beam light, is there a way to change it to say red or some other darker color???

Does that really bother you? I mean how often do you use it? Ive never had issues with the blue highbeam light. I doubt you can fix it. Most are blue lenses. Ontop of that that bulb is usually sealed, as in you cant get to it without cracking open the case.

Yeah crackin yo cluster apart ain't that hard , you jus gotta be gentle. There's a ton of lil clips that go around the cluster you need to pretty much pop off all at once, well sorta. You got an old feeler gauge? If so get the thickest ones and cut um apart from each other. Then use one in all the little clips to pry it up and hold em while you are goin on to the next one. After there all in jus kinda keep workin em threw till the bitch pops off. Then get like a red or whatever color paint pen and carefully paint the blue lens part. A lil masking tape around the lil fucker will save you some head ache case you screw up. The blue maskin tape is the best, so uise that if you can. Usually after you popped the clear frt part of your cluster off it will be easier the next time, case you ever wanted to do som mo customizing or something down the line . Post a pic of your your cluster when your done. You can do it shit simple jus take your time.

Oh yeah small flathead screw drivers work good too for removing the clear piece. Good luck

i had a bright idea of switching the colors of my cluster not so long ago:)
turned out harder than i thought
the factory lights are covered with plastic pieces that have 2 layers of paint on them
one is a tint so it wont be seen outside and to match the cluster
second is the actual color

so i took the cluster apart and popped out all the colored pieces
wet sanded them
then used a thick sharpie to put the blue color back on them
the color was great but its very hard to apply even coat with the marker theres always lines
second one i did is i went to the loca officemax and bouht some blue plastic folders and used the cutouts underneath
turned out better but the color wasnt as accurate
finally i found a hobby shop and bought better clear blue plastic but by that time i disassembled my cluster few 10x# tiems and lost interest.
bought a new untouched cluster and was happy with it

heres the results of my experiment.
looks good at night

not so good in daylight

what i havent tried is leaving the clear plastic and replacing bulbs with colored LEDs

I'm thinking now to just replace the light bulb for the high beams with a purple led or something like that, so that it will be less profound.
And I do alot of driving at night, it especially sucked last time I drove home from pittsburgh to philly, a little under 5 hours in the dark, that bright blue light sucks ass for night vision. I'd LOVE for it to be a red or something though so it wouldnt spoil my night vision is all...

theres a colored plastic piece( in this case) dark blue that u can wipe off with paint thinner and Qtip to make it clear then buy a desired color bulb
otherwise u end up with some funky color
heres how its gonna look with clear plastics(the brightest one is clear bulb others are colored by blue permanent marker give you purplish look)
that is untill i order blue led bulbs.

also my attempt to integrate the alarm LED into cluster
again i just made a circle with a qtip with paint thinner and zip ied the LED so it doesnt fall thru
some of you might have the factory security light in clusted so use that one

heres how the pieces look
use sandpaper to sand the colors off (dont use paint thinner because it will melt plastic very easy)

note the non reflective coating on the other side dont mess with it otherwise u ll see all the lil images of acessory lights on the cluster like i had on pictures above..
