Hid's on my high help please!!!!!!

so im geting hids and i was wondering if i got hids for my highbeams on my 1994 acura integra will the actually head light be highbeamed or low beams? because my friend has yellow hids on his highs but that not what i want i want something around 12000k please help

you can put whatever k you want in your highbeams. Im running 3k for the yellow (hi) and 6k for low beam. But 12k will be damn bright in your flood lens....people will complain!!! angle them down a bit lol

But everybody has been using them for a min here in the northeast areas, so the cops dont go crazy. Many have been buying the new mustangs and various vehicles with the big fogs or lighting, and running em all day with the daytime running lights that is supposed to be on all man. cars after a certain date. same with hid lighting systems. but also being said thats why I run 3k just so the cops dont think im pushing it! any hid kelvin over 5-6k is considered non oem and illegal. there are like only 2-3 actual companies that make oem hid systems and they are pricey!!! and I think 5300k is the max output...

does your friend have his lo beams switched to run out of the hi beam lamps? At first I ran hids in my low beam 6k and got 3k regular bulbs for my hi beams. I drove like that to see where if any that the cops would test....never did. then I put hids in 6mos after... I really have em on when im on the highway in the fast lane.... I cannot stand anybody in that lane on the celly chatting away!

I run my highs all the time they almost never turn off and I've encountered many an officer in 3 states Cali, AZ, Nevada and no problems at all and my setup is 8k HID in the lows and cheap yellow halogens in the highs
