Im gettin my HID retrofitted tomorrow...can't wait for the usps guy
Notice the rear cap... its a combination of the stock piece and a Hyundai Sonata cap epoxied together. The OEM rubber seal is kept to maintain the seal of the housing.
The ignitor is visible through the "window", the wire exiting the housing goes to the ballast, its sealed against the weather as well. I aligned the warning sticker to show through the window....
As you can see, the rear cap allows the bulb connection to stay inside the housing, keeping it away from the weather, with a simple twist of the cap, it comes off allowing bulb replacement. Very OEM.
