Hi new to this forum

Hi guys just came accross this website and thought i would sign up. I own a 1995 honda integra SiR-G Dc2. Owned it for nearly 4years now and is still stock apart from CAI. I will post up some pics tomorrow after work, just got it painted last week so ill wash it n get some pics.

Here's a couple of pics, there not the greatest as i took them with a crappy cellphone camera. The engine bay needs a clean really bad which ill do this week sometime and also im gonna get a new air filter cause my one is dirty as hell and is old.

Also planning on getting some lowering springs next week to, should i spray my fat fives black or keep them as they are?

Does anyone have any advice on the best way to clean my engine bay???

That's a unique color. Was going to ask you if it was stock, until I looked in the engine bay lol

I spray mine with brake clean then take a water hose to finish it n it comes right off n works wonders

Thanks. Yep had it for 4years now, i bought it for $1900NZD 4years ago. Still runs mint like the day i bought it. In the 4years of owning it, its been so reliable, only things ive replaced on it were 2 front tyres and a new windshield cause it had a crack through it last year. Yeah all cars here are RHD and from japan. I dont think i'll ever ever sell it, i love my car to bits, its awesome.

I bought it at 250,000km and its done 306,000 now, still has the same original engine, gearbox n clutch and runs really strong still, i reckon itl do 400,000km easy on the same factory engine

Damn haha, I would just wrap the dizzy/intake/fuse box, Remove the battery and just use a low pressure power washer on that bay. :scurred:

I'd do some googling to make sure you're not gonna mess a whole bunch of stuff up but if you can that would certainly be the most effective thing to do.

Ok well im selling my car this week to my friend :( just wanna sell it cause its done to many KM's and i want a change, i will be buying a 96 spec dc2 type r tho within the next few weeks, im deciding what to get, there's 2 type r i have seen that im keen as on, 1 is championship white, 136,000km or 84,000miles and is pretty stock but mint as condition, the guy wants $6800 or this other one for $6000, its milano red, 152,000km or 94,000miles, thats stock to and really good condition.

So i sold my dc2 about 5weeks ago, picking up my new car on thursday or this weekend, i bought a 2002 dc5 type iS integra k20a3(yep shitty 160hp base model lol), getting it for $7300, has only done 143,000km and is in mint condition. Here's some pics
