Hey new here, need help with my teg...

I have a '95 SE 2DR Integra Auto, 110k miles on it.

I have a few concerns:

When it is cold out, or my first start for the day, when I start the car it runs really rough. Idles at about 1500-2000RPM and feels like it is stalling a little(more like shaking pretty bad in short intervals). It also makes more engine noise(chuckling). It also shifts gears really rough.

After a few minutes driving idle drops down to about 500-700 and it runs fine, engine sounds like it is running smoother. It runs fine even after I start it up again after that initial start up.

ALSO
When in cold weather or fresh start up, when going over any speed bumps or uneven pavement my front suspension(?) makes a rubbery/plastic squeaky noise, when you would normally hear that air noise from the shock absorbers. This noise is definitely loud and can be heard from outside the car pretty bad. When warm out and the car has been running for a bit, the noise completely goes away.

I drove to midas the other day and asked them to check my suspension, the noise wasn't happening when he tested it and he said he couldn't find anything wrong with it. I even went for a test drive with the guy and he said it sounded/looked fine. From what I've searched, people have said that the problem might be bad bushings???

Thanks for taking the time to read.

Well the reason for the high idle in cold weather is because a lot of Honda's have thermostat-controlled idles, and I think the teg is one of them (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
Something very similar to the shaking/choking idle happened to my buddy's Accord. We replaced the thermostat and it ran perfectly again.

front suspension - I'd check the shocks to see if they're blown and upper pillow mounts (the one's inside the engine bay).

when the car is cold, it is not going to run at its best. they take a lil while to get up to a decent operating temperature. as far as the trans goes, 1 the fluid(like all the other fluids in your car) are cold and stiff. you also probably need to have a trans flush or atleast drain and fill done. as far as the suspension goes, all older cars squeek when they go over bumps. some more than others. mine does it, but after 136k im still on the stock struts. so i know that is my problem. hope this helps.

Bushings in the upper control arms are probably the reason for the squeek. My rubber ones are all torn up and squeek over every bump. Its rather annoying. And to correct/modify Adel's post (red98teg) old cars squeek because parts on them start to wear out, not necessarily just because they are old.

nothing from nowhere
i would try a top end engine cleaner on it,something like bg induction system cleaner. it did wonders on mine. the sway bar bushings tend to make noise also.

i heard you NEVER flush a honda trans, because the seals can't handle it, i think your supposed to just drain and refill it.

I had the idle problem when i bought my Teg, I replaced the Thermostat and made sure i had Rad. Fluid, I was fine the next startup!
