Hey everyone! So I have been a Honda/Acura enthusiast for quite awhile, and I recently came across a 2nd gen Integra that has been sitting at this auto shop for a long time. I went to check it out one day and found out it is an automatic! :x I have been looking for a project car for quite some time now and plan on swapping whatever I get so whether or not it runs is not a concern of mine. However, the fact that it is an auto is a concern. My question is that if I were to import an engine with a manual transmission, b16 or b18, would there be too many modifications that need to be done for the engine/tranny to fit? I was guessing that I can still fit the engine and tranny in fine but take out all of the old auto console and gearbox and replace with a similar model manual trim console, gearbox, and shifter. I want to find a project car soon but this will be my first swap and I am wondering if I want to go in to an auto-manual conversion for my first project car. Is the full swap as easy as I stated above? Thanks.

Welcome to CI.

I suggest that you figure out what your goal for your project car is first before doing any swaps. You'd be surprise to find out that the best tegs in this forums are automatics.

Welcome. If you plan to swap it, everything you mentioned above covers most of what you need. Don't forget pedals, ECU options, and buy one of the shift knobs in my for sale thread. :)
