Help with OEM stereo wire colors

12volt.com, you need to register first.

IMO - i would suggest buying a harness @ your local audio store for $10-$20 and instead of using electrical tape use butt connectors, either clamp or twist.

this way if you decide to get another deck, its plug and play instead of unwrapping all the tape.

i agree with daily, and plus its 10x easier to install
all you'll need to do is match the color of the wire harness to the after market deck and plug it into the oem harness and your good to go.
and the best part is too, if you ever sell your car you can put your stock deck back in there as well.

The only problem with that is that when i bought the car it didn't come with a stereo. Also it was hardwired with another wiring harness that didn't match the deck that i was going to put in. So after trying to wire up the new harness when i plugged the stereo in the was no power to it, so obviously something f**kin messed up. Thats why i was wanting the diagram.
