Help with ITR Headlights

Im doing a JDM front end conversion, but im also looking at the japanese "GSR" front end (i think that wuts its called) but the headlights there are Chrome instead of Blackhousing like on the ITR, has anyone ever painted the GSR headlights Black and is it possible?? thanks guys

It should be just as straight forward as painting any other headlights, bake em in an oven or use a heat gun to open them and the chrome will either come out or you'll have to mask it.
