help with idle.

my idle is sitting at 1.5k right now. if i touch my idle adjustent screw, the iacv just bumps it up and down several times a second. any ideas of what it could be? ill try and get some more details when i pull it out this weekend.

U check your throttle cable to make sure its adjusted right? Also if u to the iacv. Out clean with break parts cleaner

go trough the routine like check for air in the radiator replace pcv valve checks for leaks clean the iacv

radiator probly has bubbles in it, as it was just filled, and leaking. how do it adjust my throttle cable? like where should it be? im pretty sure the iacv is clean, because i can here it adjusting the idle just fine. but ill clean it after the new radi's in there

I had a problem with My idle and it turned out to be the valve on the back of the intake manifold and has 2 hoses connected to it from the bottem I just replaced it and my idle was perfect and the throttle cable should be tight but not to tight to were it opens the throttle body

Just check if your throttle body closes all the way.... You might have a Vac leak, get some carb cleaner and check where everything that bolts together after the throttle body and where the intake manifold mounts to the head. If theres a leak present the car will try and die or smoke out the exhaust.

i also have problems with my idle when i first stat the car. when i start it it drops to like 300rpms then when it warms up it jumps up to around 1200rpms. do any of you guys know what it could be?
