help with engine rebuild

soo, i blew a hole thrrough my b18a1.. now to get it fixed. im just looking to pick up a bottom end. it looks like the piston made contact with the cylinder head, but its not clear wheather it bent any valves or not. how do i check for bent valves? is there any way to check it without pulling the valve out?

i would replace the valves regardless. and to check it you would just take out the valve

Just get a B18B1 black and head and use your exhaust manifold and plenum. And bolt everything to it.
