help with a body part

does anyone know what the little strip that covers the hatch key hole is called? someone hit me and i need to replace it but dont know what its called please help. thanks

naw i dont think hes talking about the valence, there is no part that covers the key hole on an integra. its the trunk unit

If your talking about the piece i think you are, Its the Little tiny flap inside the keyhole entrance. Sometimes its a hinged swing flap covering the outside. It keeps the water/salt/crud out of the lock itself.

Either way its part of the lock mechanism itself and not sold separately that i know about.

Ya its the rear valence that CortezBanks was talking about preciate it man. i dont know why i couldnt find it i looked every where but i guess not hard enough thanks tho man.

it doesnt technically "cover" it just surrounds it i guess i chose the wrong word but he got my point.
