HELP?! Start won't stop!

I just started the car and heard the starter still spinning. I shut it down and the starter power is still engaging the starter. I had to disconnect the starter and rig a wire to manually start the car with a jump wire. Could there be a direct correlation between the starter and my alarm installation?? BTW I had problems with the starter bendex not engaging once and awhile. (turn the key and it doesn't start; clicks once but doesn't engage starter) And I don't have remote start on the car.
Anybody else ever have this problem?

Do you have remote start?

I'd take that to the Honda dealer ASAP.
Um. Didn't i note that it didn't have remote start? Anyway, so yeah; I wanted some opinions before I go and spend a grip of money at the dealership. Besides that fact that I'm a cheap mo fo and want to fix this myself.

No need to get snippy. 8) It could be an issue with your starter. Why not try to replace the starter?

hehe I was just jokin' man. It's cool. Anyway. That's what I intend to do. I just wanted to make sure before I do that. Thanks for that help.

That's actually where I had it looked at first. He wants me to take it to the place where I installed my alarm. He thinks they may have crossed something. It's a really reputable shop, so I'm second guessing his opinion. He's a small time mechanic.

does your alarm go into the ignition? If the ignition start wire is crossed with the ignition on wire, it would continue to crank the starter. No reason to buy a new one if your current one is working.

You know its working because when you use the jumper wire it starts normal, correct? I'd say take it to the alarm installer people
