help smoke coming into car!!!

i have an integra 94 ls smoke is coming from under the dash into my car ive had a smell for a few months i think oil. i think my rear main seal is bad.. or head(hope not) but anyway it seems like i just didn notice the smoke till it was cold outside but it smells its when the defogger is on so it comes from under dash from the left of the glove box and gets sucked by the vents at the windsheild. u can see the smoke hug the dashboard all the way to the vents..

look to see if you have oil dripping onto the header

okay i looked reall good and there is a grey box behide the stereo and theres oil comeing from that. i let the car warm up and tht grey box gets fairly warm.. but i also smell coolent behide the glove box . i have no heat or ac. alittle heat and alittle ac but i might as well be none

I had kinda the same issue I did a oil change and got some on the header and it filled the inside with smoke freaked me out I thought it was on fire lol

it could possibly be your heater core man that's my guess happen in my buddy's truck the smell also will come out of the vents

yep thts wht it is $500 to fix the whole dash come out but i read somwhere tht it doesnt have to. ima bypass it till i got the money to fix it. i can live without heat

I wouldn't recommend doing that but I watched my dad do it to his 70 nova. Then again that's two totally different engines.

I'm going to agree with the guys that said Heater Core. Now here's the real issue... You said there's oil coming from it? You need to check your dipstick to find out if your oil is milky. If you have oil in your heater core.. you're got a really bad head gasket or a cracked sleeve would be my guess.
