I am assuming it is out of the car? Or still in the car? If out and all the bolts are out, someitmes the pilot bearing will stick on the output shaft of the tranny or the clutch and slight pressure with 2 screwdrivers or small prybars will help. It should pull right apart if out of the car, but if it is still sticking...check again for any missed bolts.

Let us know

its in the car. i tried prying it apart using a flat head and hammer, no use. i have all the motor mounts out, the motor is free. what all holds the motor to the transmission?

nothing from nowhere
start lifting on the trans and get a prybar in there when it starts to open, the dowell pins are probally rusted

or there may just be pressure from how your holding the engine, what we did when we took the tranny out with the engine still in was place a jack under the tranny to lift up on it so it doesnt have free weight and then after it was seperated we lowered the jack....its a pain to remove the thing while its still in the bay, we went out through the bottom with it and jacked the car up

Twist, shake, and pull, take a break when your tired and repeat. I would be careful prying, you don't want to crack the case.

Get a rubber mallet and hit around where it connects to the block, that should get it separated.

I am assuming this is a manual transmission. If it is an automatic transmission you need to remove the inspection cover on the bottom and unbolt the torque converter.

If it is indeed a manual, wiggle and pull. It was a pain in the butt to remove mine with it still in the bay, and I had to remove the crank pulley to have enough room to pull the engine over enough. If you don't remove it and your lifting it out from the top, you will catch on the body. After you get it separating you must make sure your free of the transmission shaft.
