Hey whats up i just recently found out my TPS throttle position sensor is failing i have an idea where it might be but i need some help makeing sure where it is thanks
The TPS will be on the throttle body, opposite the throttle pulley.
I doubt the TPS is the cause if your high idle. More likely a vac leak or the idle valve.
The TPS sensor is calibrated to the throttle plate so dont mess with it unless you know how to set it.
I looked at my ECU under my passenger seat and it gave me 7 blinks which would refer to a code 7 and that means the problem is my throttle position sensor or circut i found the TPS and looked for it at auto parts stores and online no one carrys the TPS for an 86 integra idk what to do im thinking of going to a junk yard and looking for on if i dont find one i dont know what i will do i need some help
