Help me disable alarm!

The previous owner installed an alarm system and sold it to me without the remote. (must have lost it or some shit). I told him to disable it before giving it to me and he said he did. Then a week ago the alarm went off on me. So I had to open the hood and disconnect the batt. Same thing happened to me yesterday. I just want to take the shit out all together and install one later on. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is the alarm system.











I tried to follow the wire as best as i could, but it goes into the firewall (I guess thats what its called) and I dont know where it goes or even how to get to it after that!

Some please help me out.

That's just the siren.

The brain is inside the car. Look up under the dash above the drivers feet. If you don't see the brain there you'll probably at least see more of that aftermarket wiring, keep following it to find the brain.

the brain could also be underneath the drivers seat...thats where mine is

Yeah, but he doesn't even know if the alarm works correctly and would probably hate to pay for a new remote and pay for the time for an installer to program it if the alarm is whacked. By the looks of that hack install, I'd just want to remove it and put a new one in the right way also.
