IVE BEEN READING A COUPLE OF PAST POST & IM TRYING TO GET SOME ADVICE

I WOULD LIKE TO PUT SOME BOLT-ON MODS ON 90 INTEGRA GS

WHAT ARE SOME GOOD BRANDS/MODELS OF MODS THAT I SHOULD LOOK AT ?

I WOULD LIKE TO GET A INTAKE ( I WAS TOLD K&N IS THE TOP BRAND, ALSO TOLD TO GET A DOUBLE PASS STAINLESS STEEL INTAKE) IS THERE A CERTAIN ONE MADE BY K&N THATS BETTER TO GET

ALSO A Catalytic Converters TOLD TO GET STAINLESS STEEL Last Longer (whats the best brand & model )

Is a camshaft considered bolt on OR IS THAT MORE THAN JUST TAKE OLD ONE OFF PUT NEW ONE ON ?

I've never heard of a double pass intake. I wouldn't worry about whether whatever intake you buy is stainless steel or not.
K&N is the best brand of aftermarket high flow air filters, imo. Most quality brand name intakes come with a K&N filter.

I won't recommend brands, cuz I don't know who exactly makes what for 2nd generation Integra's (2nd generation = 1990-1993), I'll leave that to the other G2 dudes.

-Brands vary to the part.

-K&N is IMO the best filter. For an intake a Icebox is the best for a daily drivin street car. Not to mention its CHEAP(if you DIY) http://www.clubintegra.com/board/showthread.php?t=10918

-For a cat, 1st rule is AVOID EBAY BRANDS! The best 2 Cat brands IMO are
.......Carsound
.......And Random Technology

thats my :twocents:

believe it or not, you actually have 2 camshafts. lol. That's a little more work than just take it off and put a new one in. They also cost a good amount more than your basic bolt-ons. I'd say start by getting yourself an intake. Maybe an exhaust.

an exhaust would go along with your Catalytic Converter. some people say get a high flow cat. I don't think you need any special catalytic converter while just running bolt-ons, but you could go ahead and get one if you have big plans for the car.

oh, and Welcome to the site!

I don't consider cams a "bolt-on" mod.
Bolt on mods are intake, header, cat, exhaust.

Getting a high flow cat eliminates the bottleneck in the system (not to mention air flows through it better than the stock cat), it's an important last piece of the header/exhaust system that alot of people don't bother with. Bottlenecks hurt exhaust flow.

Oh man, sorry if i gave you the wrong idea. I don't think cams are anywhere near a bolt-on.

welcome to site, anyways to help give you a lil more info as far as aftermarket parts go for second gens

if you want a decent intake for the money aem makes a full cai for year and it doesnt hurt your pockets either

i would recommend dcsports for your header they can be pricy but there worth every penny i believe there make a 4-1race header, pace setter which started doing shit for ferrari makes a pretty decent header that actually cheap

dont do a muffler, it makes you look like ricer and you will definately get made fun of no offense, hks, apexi, skunk2 all make a full catback for our years all depends aon what you want to do or you could make a custom with any muffler of your choice

cats what speedin stated are by far the best ones to get

that all i can really think of off the top of my head if you have any more questions feel free to ask any one of us g2 guys

lol, yeah!

I was talking to the newb about the cams thing btw, not you. :) I forgot to answer that last question he asked in my first post.

OK back to newb. YES, a double pass exhaust is a good suggestion. Unless you want a loud exhaust, then you don't want a double pass muffler (more commonly called a twin pass or twin loop, btw).

mugen has a good twin loop exhaust (for a ridiculous price, and it's not made for g2's, so the pipig would have to be redone). I got the one from jdmcarboy.com with custom piping (if you do custom be sure to get a resonator, I'm going back to get one welded). Havent found many others except for the netami one on ebay but it only has a 2" inlet.

Expirence = Mistakes Made
Get the hi flow cat TegSox told me to and I don't regret it the exhaust flows so much better
