HELP!! fog light wiring

hola,

i should be banished for saying this but...i bought cheap shit off ebay and i cant get it to work. simple kit, 2 lights, harness, switch. i test wired it up and tried to switch it on and they dont work. before i go through replacing the fuse and/or relay, i want someone elses help. here is a picture of the wiring.

i am 100% sure i wired it up exactly as in the picture, but my question is are the lights getting power? i mean the diagram shows a "ground" from the fuse to the positive terminal of the battery, will this alone power the foglights? if so, maybe something in the harness or switch is faulty because the lights work. i tested them with a 9v battery and they shine. is there any components missing? i need help!!

so ive taken a look at other wiring diagrams, and it seems as though the problem is that the switch needs a constant 12v power source. either from the fuses to the low beam headlights, or the power wires to the headlights themselves, can anyone confirm this for me?

the power should be comming from the relay... i remembered the same problem with fog kit for my civic... i got pissed and hooked the fog switch directly to the battery, make sure the fuse is in play tho... incase something goes wrong the fuse will blow not your fog lights.

so youre saying the power for the switch should come from the relay? and then by including the fuse you mean between the battery and switch right?
this is the second diagram i looked at where the switch is connected to the fuses

tryin to figurethis out!!

i tired hooking the switch directly to the battery. now the switch will light up but no power to the lights:cry: after taking a hard look at MY diagram and then others, i came to the conclusion that i need to go get them installed dammit! $200 bones!!!!
