Hola eses! :p i have an aftermarjet headunit, pioneer i believe, model CDX-GT240. i really dont give a shit for a sound system. But a while ago my friend went into the settings and tweaked it, and the result was undistorted bass, unlike what im hearing now since my battery has been disconnected. Can anyone input a set up that i can try? Im a deaf guy so sound isnt my thing, i dont know much more than sound balance haha :p

I dont use the am/fm stuff, rarely CDs, just the AUX, what i seek is to lower the distortion (of the bass i believe, cant tell) when the music is playing on a louder level. Heres a pic of the head unit in case im wrong about brand.

Unplug your battery. Settings will all zero out.

Then adjust your high, low, left to right, and back to front. I would maybe raise bass up a couple of points, same with the treble, but add a little more, and have the sound come out the back speakers a little bit more.

Something like 2 for bass, 4 for the treble, and +2 in the back. It should be good.

Bad cable is easier to diagnose... you either hear something or you dont.

Is your hearing affecting your vision on the head unit make? Distortion is usually too much treble, too much bass(not all speakers can handle it), or a bad connection(most likely aux).
