Hello new to the forum.

Hello every one, I am new to the forum I just got my self a 1991 RS acura integra the only things I know done to the car is lowered, intake, and pipe. I just had the old lady take it to get smoged when I was at work but it didn't pass, lol so that's my next fix on it. ill post pic when I get the time

also did she bring back the paper work to show what didn't allow it to pass?
also isn't the car old enough to not need to be smog?

not in cali... that is reserved for vintage american muscle cars it seems... I have yet to hear of a import getting that kind of love. see below from the BAR directly...

Does my vehicle qualify for a smog exemption?

Smog inspections are required unless your vehicle is:
• Hybrid
• Gasoline powered 1975 year model or older
• Diesel powered 1997 year model and older or with a Gross Vehicle Weight rating (GVWR) of more than 14,000 lbs
• Electric
• Natural gas powered with a GVWR rating of more than 14,000 lbs.
• Motorcycle
• Trailer


with the failed smog test they may require you to take it to a gold shield licensed smog repair shop.

that is alink to the BAR section that will guid you through what California is going to expect from you... 2 items that commonly cause a failed smog on these cars are the o2 sensor and a worn out Catalytic converter.

Thanks every one, yes i am going to get it looked at this week. Ya i live in CA, and yes she got the paper it failed all the gas test that they run, how do i post pics of my car on here btw?

Welcome to CI! First you gotta upload the pics from your pc, phone, ect. Go to the user control panel (top right of the screen) then to pictures and albums. Should be self explanatory from there. If not pm me. (Private message)
We are a bunch of pic wh*res on this forum so get used to it :) welcome again :D
