hello
It's just a clean white gsr
and i have some questions about this car
the previous owner told me to pump the middle and premium one every other tank
so it's like
1 tank of premium-->1 tank of middle one-->1 tank of premium.....

can someone please tell me why i have to pump it like this?
I'm just new to stuffs about car, so feel free to teach me

( please don't laugh at my questions  )

No, GS-R's require preimum gas. You need to use the higher octane the engine runs properly. The previous owner just didn't want to pay for preimum gas all the time.

Oh yeah,

even the gauge cluster says Premium Fuel Required.. I use 93oct (premium in here).. u can run on normal but less performance. to the OP I guess he was trying to save money

It will cause the check engine light to come on at best. Pull some ignition timing, loose some power, etc

I bet he said to go back and forth between medium and premium gas because where you live, premium is 93 octane and medium is 89, and since a GSR requires 91, you can save some money going back and forth between the two. You don't "have" to pump like that, putting 93 in all the time won't hurt a thing, but throwing in some 89 octane every other tank will give you a 91 octane mix and save you a little money, that's all.
